Kyra Minturn

 KyraMinturn, born 19th August 1965, is an American actress. She is most famous for her role as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded two Emmy Awards in the years 2010 and 2007 for her portrayal Johnson. After the conclusion of the seventh season, the show was canceled on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick's performance as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also notable. Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are as well. Sedgwick was the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald who worked as a speech and family therapist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick IV, a venture capitalist. Her birthplace was in New York City. Her mother, who was Jewish was of English and Episcopalian origins. Sedgwick claims to be Jewish and claims she goes to Passover seders.
