Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the third oldest daughter. She was the child of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8] and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), both of whom were real estate developers. Her grandfather was a Greek who come to Greece in 1904, and her maternal grandmother was of Irish origin. In the year 1976, her parents got married. Psaki also has Polish roots. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. She graduated from College of William & Mary in 2000, obtaining a degree both in English and sociology. She is a member of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki was an elite backstroke swimmer at William & Mary Tribe. Psaki's career path began in 2001, when she became a part of the re-election campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack, a candidate for governor. Psaki then became the press secretary deputy for John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki also served as communications director for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to the year 2006. MSNBC has announced that Psaki will serve as an analyst in the 2022 United States elections and during the 2024 presidential election. In 2023, she will host a program on MSNBC’s Peacock streaming service.
