Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. Her previous roles included an presidential candidate as well as an anchor on TV at MSNBC. She's also a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and co-host of The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they would be leaving the show to start their own project, titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball credits her passion for politics to the fact that she became a mom in the 2008 presidential primaries and was also able be able to watch the US presidential elections while in Jordan. She was able to see the effect that it had on the citizens of her home country and was moved to see the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She was the host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 until August 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
